Maple-Tahini Apple Snack

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (preferably very dark syrup for its strong flavour)
  • 1 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste) or your choice of nut butter
  • 1/3 cup walnuts (or your choice of nut), chopped
  • 1 apple, peeled, halved, and cored*

Method

  1. In a small bowl, blend the maple syrup, tahini, and nuts.
  2. Sprinkle this mixture on your apple halves.
  3. Microwave 3 minutes at maximum power.
  4. Let sit for 1 minute before eating.
