  • 250 ml (1cup) choice of nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup


  1. Heat the nuts over low heat in a skillet to enhance the flavor and crunchiness;
  2. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup. Return to heat and continue cooking, stirring often until sugar crys-tallizes and sticks to the nuts;
  3. Place the nuts on a plate and allow cooling.

Additional Information

* You can make pretty gifts by wrapping the nuts in wrapping paper and tying with ribbon.
